Are you a beginner?

These classes are designed for complete beginners or clients who are either recovering from injury or dealing with long-term injuries. Being super fit is not essential, these classes are geared towards becoming familiar with the basics of Pilates including breathing, stability, alignment and activating the correct muscles.



What shall I bring?

Something that allows you to move freely and with ease (sweatpants, leggings, Shorts, t-shirt, sports shirts are all recommended). Your workout can be performed in socks or bare feet, whichever is best for you. Water is also provided within the studio for you.
Looking forward to your class? Here is what to expect.

We advise you to arrive 10 minutes early before your class begins. This gives you enough time to sit in our lovely reception area, fill out a short registration form and be shown around the studio. You will be met by one of our experienced trainers who are always keen to find out information on your training goals and aspirations. Once you have been introduced to our specialised equipment at Power Pilates the class will start on the hour where you will be given the correct cue’s to learn how to activate your core and understand the reformer. Activating muscles which may not have been worked in a while is very usual, so no need to worry about that. This type of class gives you all the introductory tools to start your Power Pilates experience. Unlike traditional pilates, do not be surprised if you are training to music aimed to lift the energy and spirit of the class thanks to  the passion of our fantastic trainers. 
What results can I expect from a Beginners class at Power Pilates?

No matter what your fitness or experience levels are, this type of class gives you a great atmosphere to work on isolating, fatiguing and stretching those muscles. With the option to change spring tension to either work on your smaller stabilising muscles or bigger global muscles the beginner class gives you the opportunity to master your technique, start to build your strength and increase your flexibility putting you on the right road in creating them sculpted, long, lean muscles.
